Obviously tents are great because they keep you warm and dry in the mountains, but I've always hated how much space they take up in my pack and how much weight they add to my back. Light, strong, easy to set up, versatile, and doesn't fill up my pack - what's not to love? I've always had a love/hate relationship with tents, and I've gone through quite a few of 3 and 4 season options.
